Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Tehran, Tajrish & Imamzadeh Saleh Shrine

Arrive in Tehran and meet your local guide before transferring to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, begin your pilgrimage journey with a visit to Tajrish, one of northern Tehran's historic and lively neighborhoods.

Explore Tajrish Bazaar, where traditional shops, local products, and everyday life come together around the historic market. Continue to the nearby Imamzadeh Saleh Shrine, an important Shia pilgrimage site and one of Tehran's best-known religious landmarks.

Spend time at the shrine for Ziyarat and personal prayer before returning to your hotel. If your flight arrives late, the visits can be adjusted according to your arrival time.

Overnight in Tehran

Day 2 – Rey, Shah Abdol-Azim Shrine & Qom

After breakfast, travel south of Tehran to Rey, one of the oldest urban centers in the Tehran region and an important part of Iran's Shia religious heritage.

Visit Shah Abdol-Azim Shrine, the main pilgrimage site in Rey. The shrine complex includes the tomb of Shah Abdol-Azim as well as Imamzadeh Hamzeh and Imamzadeh Taher.

Take time for Ziyarat and explore the traditional area surrounding the shrine before continuing to Qom in the afternoon.

Qom is one of Iran's most important centers of Shia religious learning and pilgrimage. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and have time to rest.

Overnight in Qom

Day 3 – Qom: Fatima Masumeh Shrine & Religious Heritage

Today is dedicated to the religious heritage of Qom.

Begin at the Shrine of Fatima Masumeh, the city's most important pilgrimage site and the center of Qom's long-standing tradition of Shia religious scholarship.

Explore the shrine complex and surrounding religious quarter, with time for personal Ziyarat, prayer, and reflection.

Continue to Feyzieh School, one of the best-known religious schools beside the shrine and an important part of Qom's scholarly heritage. Depending on access and local conditions, also visit Azam Mosque, located beside the shrine complex.

The remainder of the day is intentionally kept flexible. Use this time for personal Ziyarat, prayer, reflection, or simply spending more time in the atmosphere of the holy city.

Overnight in Qom

Day 4 – Jamkaran Mosque, Qom & Flight to Mashhad

Start the morning with a visit to Jamkaran Mosque, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations near Qom and a major site associated with devotion to Imam Mahdi.

Return to Qom for additional personal Ziyarat and prayer. Depending on your flight schedule, you may also revisit a site from the previous day or spend additional time around the shrine.

After lunch, transfer by private vehicle to Tehran's Mehrabad Airport for your domestic flight to Mashhad.

Upon arrival in Mashhad, transfer to your hotel and settle in. If your arrival time allows, make your first visit to the Imam Reza Shrine in the evening.

Overnight in Mashhad

Day 5 – Imam Reza Shrine & Astan Quds Razavi

Today is the spiritual heart of your journey.

Spend the morning at the Imam Reza Shrine, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations for Shia Muslims. The vast complex includes the holy burial chamber, courtyards, porticos, religious schools, museums, and the historic Goharshad Mosque.

Visit Goharshad Mosque, the magnificent Timurid mosque within the shrine complex, before continuing to selected parts of the Astan Quds Razavi Museum Complex.

The rest of the day is deliberately kept flexible. You will have generous time for personal Ziyarat, prayer, and visiting the shrine at your own pace.

Overnight in Mashhad

Day 6 – Pilgrimage Sites Around Mashhad & Personal Ziyarat

After breakfast, visit some of the important pilgrimage sites around Mashhad.

Begin with the Shrine of Yaser and Naser, two descendants of Imam Musa al-Kadhim and an important local pilgrimage site in the Torghabeh area.

Continue to the Mausoleum of Khajeh Abasalt, one of the close companions of Imam Reza and an established pilgrimage destination near Mashhad.

Depending on time and local conditions, continue to Khajeh Morad Shrine, another important religious site associated with one of Imam Reza's companions.

Return to Mashhad and leave the remainder of the day free for personal Ziyarat at the Imam Reza Shrine, prayer, shopping for saffron and religious souvenirs, or rest at the hotel.

Optional extended pilgrimage: If you would like to visit Qadamgah-e Razavi near Neyshabur, this can be arranged as an extended excursion. Because Qadamgah is significantly farther from Mashhad than the other pilgrimage sites, adding it requires additional driving time and should be planned in advance.

Overnight in Mashhad

Depending on your departure time, enjoy one final visit to the Imam Reza Shrine for personal prayer and farewell Ziyarat.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, transfer to Mashhad International Airport for your departure flight.

Your journey ends in Mashhad, allowing you to fly directly home without returning to Tehran.
