Welcome to Shiraz! After touching down at Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), you will be greeted warmly by your guide who will escort you to your hotel. Supposing you arrive in the morning, we’ll jump right into exploring this beautiful city. First, we’ll visit the Eram Garden, a lush and refreshing oasis where you can relax amidst the greenery. Next, we’ll pay our respects at the Tomb of Hafez, the beloved Persian poet whose works have left an indelible mark on literature. As you wander through his tranquil garden tomb, you’ll feel the serenity and poetic spirit that permeate this special place. Overnight in Shiraz
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll start our day at the Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque. Prepare to be dazzled by the stunning interplay of light and colour inside this architectural gem. Nearby, we’ll stroll through the Narenjestan Qavam Garden, another beautiful spot brimming with fragrant orange blossoms and elegant architecture. Our journey continues with an outside visit to the Karim Khan Citadel, a fortress from the Zand Dynasty. We’ll then dive into the bustling atmosphere of the Vakil Complex, where you can shop for unique treasures in the Vakil Bazaar and explore the ancient Saray-e Moshir. This afternoon, we have a special treat: dinner with a local Shirazi family. Today we embark on a scenic drive to Isfahan, with several fascinating stops along the way. Our first destination is Persepolis, the legendary city and UNESCO World Heritage Site founded by Darius the Great. Walking among the ancient ruins, you’ll feel the grandeur of what was once the heart of the Achaemenid Empire. Next, we’ll visit the Necropolis (Naghsh-e Rostam), where the monumental tombs of four Achaemenid kings are carved into the mountainside. Continuing our journey, we’ll pause at Pasargadae, another UNESCO site and the resting place of Cyrus the Great. Though smaller in scale than Persepolis, its historical significance and panoramic views are captivating. We’ll then proceed to Isfahan and settle into our hotel. Overnight in Isfahan
