Supposing you arrive in the morning, we’ll jump right into exploring this beautiful city. First, we’ll visit the Eram Garden, a lush and refreshing oasis where you can relax amidst the greenery. Next, we’ll pay our respects at the Tomb of Hafez, the beloved Persian poet whose works have left an indelible mark on literature. As you wander through his tranquil garden tomb, you’ll feel the serenity and poetic spirit that permeate this special place. Overnight in Shiraz

Day 2: Discovering Shiraz

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll start our day at the Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque. Prepare to be dazzled by the stunning interplay of light and colour inside this architectural gem. Nearby, we’ll stroll through the Narenjestan Qavam Garden, another beautiful spot brimming with fragrant orange blossoms and elegant architecture. Our journey continues with an outside visit to the Karim Khan Citadel, a fortress from the Zand Dynasty. We’ll then dive into the bustling atmosphere of the Vakil Complex, where you can shop for unique treasures in the Vakil Bazaar and explore the ancient Saray-e Moshir. This afternoon, we have a special treat: dinner with a local Shirazi family. This warm and welcoming experience offers a true taste of Persian culture through home-cooked recipes, engaging stories, and the joy of sharing a meal together. Overnight in Shiraz

Day 3: Journey to Isfahan

Today we embark on a scenic drive to Isfahan, with several fascinating stops along the way. Our first destination is Persepolis, the legendary city and UNESCO World Heritage Site founded by Darius the Great. Walking among the ancient ruins, you’ll feel the grandeur of what was once the heart of the Achaemenid Empire. Next, we’ll visit the Necropolis (Naghsh-e Rostam), where the monumental tombs of four Achaemenid kings are carved into the mountainside. Continuing our journey, we’ll pause at Pasargadae, another UNESCO site and the resting place of Cyrus the Great. Though smaller in scale than Persepolis, its historical significance and panoramic views are captivating. We’ll then proceed to Isfahan and settle into our hotel. Overnight in Isfahan

Day 4: Exploring Isfahan

Our adventure in Isfahan begins at the Chehel Sotun Palace, a stunning pavilion set in a landscaped park with a reflective pool. As we enter, the intricate frescoes and mirrored halls will transport us back to the time of Shah Abbas II. Next, we’ll explore the vast Naghsh-e Jahan Square, one of the world’s largest public squares and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we’ll visit the Shah Mosque, the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque with its unique dome, and the Ali Qapu Palace, known for its music rooms and royal balconies. In the bustling Qeisarieh Bazaar, you’ll have time to shop for exquisite local crafts, from pottery to jewellery. Our day concludes with a visit to the iconic Sio-se Pol Bridge, a beautiful structure that is especially enchanting when illuminated at night. Overnight in Isfahan

Day 5: From Isfahan to Tehran

After breakfast, we’ll visit the historic Khajou Bridge in Isfahan, celebrated for its decorative tiling and brickwork. Then, we’ll head to Kashan, a town renowned for its textiles, rose water, and ceramics. In Kashan, we’ll explore the Fin Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring elegant water channels and lush greenery of Persian Gardens. We’ll also visit the Tabatabaei Traditional House, an architectural marvel from the Qajar era. Our journey continues to Tehran, where we’ll check into our hotel. Overnight in Tehran

Day 6: Discovering Tehran

Our day begins with a visit to the Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This lavish complex, dating back to the Qajar Dynasty, boasts stunning gardens and opulent halls. Next, we’ll immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Tehran Grand Bazaar, a bustling market where you can find everything from spices to carpets. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the National Museum of Iran, which houses artifacts spanning from 5000 BC to the advent of Islam. Our final stop is the Treasury of National Jewels, where you can marvel at the glittering treasures of Iran’s past monarchs. If the Treasury is closed, we’ll visit the fascinating Glassware and Ceramics Museum instead. Overnight in Tehran

A trip to remember forever!

We were looking for something different from the usual European getaways—and Iran gave us everything we didn’t know we were craving. The architecture was breathtaking, but it was the people and their stories that moved us the most. We still talk about the man we met in Isfahan who invited us to his cafe for the afternoon, just because he was happy to see tourists. There’s a kindness here that touches you. Totally recommend!

An unexpected journey through Iran!

Every day felt like peeling back layers of a story we never knew. Walking through Persepolis gave us goosebumps, and the people? Incredibly kind. Our guide had this beautiful way of mixing facts with personal stories, which made everything more meaningful. We came for a holiday but left with memories we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives.
