Itinerary

Day 1: Tehran – History and First Impressions

Welcome to Iran. Upon arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

After some rest, your journey begins in the heart of Tehran. Today focuses on the city’s historical side and offers a gentle introduction to Iran’s culture and history.

You will visit the beautiful Golestan Palace, a UNESCO-listed royal complex known for its mirror work, colorful tiles, and elegant halls from the Qajar era.

Next, continue to the National Museum of Iran, where ancient artifacts reveal the story of Persian civilization from prehistoric times to the Islamic period.

Day 2: Tehran to Isfahan – From Modern Tehran to Safavid Splendor

This morning, discover the greener and more modern side of Tehran.

You begin in northern Tehran with a visit to Niavaran Palace, one of the former royal residences surrounded by gardens and peaceful scenery.

Later, walk through the lively Tajrish Neighborhood, where traditional markets, local shops, and the historic shrine create a vibrant atmosphere full of daily life.

In the afternoon, you leave Tehran behind and drive toward Isfahan. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes as the mountains gradually give way to the heart of central Iran.

After arriving in Isfahan, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 3: Isfahan – The Jewel of Persian Architecture

Today is dedicated to the beauty and elegance of Isfahan, one of Iran’s most celebrated cultural cities.

Your day begins at the historic Jameh Mosque of Isfahan, a remarkable monument that reflects centuries of Islamic architectural development.

Through the historic Qeysarieh Gate, you enter the magnificent Naqsh-e Jahan Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. Here, you visit the stunning Shah Mosque, the elegant Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and admire the grandeur of Safavid architecture.

Later, continue to Chehel Sotoun Palace, a peaceful pavilion surrounded by gardens and reflecting pools once used for royal ceremonies and receptions.

In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk along the Zayandeh River, visiting the beautiful Si-o-Se-Pol Bridge and Khaju Bridge, where locals gather to spend time, sing, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Day 4: Isfahan to Shiraz – Ancient Persia Along the Royal Road

Today you travel toward Shiraz, following part of the ancient route that once connected the great cities of Persia.

Along the way, you stop at Pasargadae, the resting place of Cyrus the Great and one of the earliest capitals of the Achaemenid Empire.

You then continue to the magnificent ruins of Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of ancient Persia and one of Iran’s most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Walking among its grand columns, stone staircases, and detailed carvings offers a powerful connection to the glory of the Persian Empire.

Before reaching Shiraz, you also visit Naqsh-e Rostam, where the tombs of Achaemenid kings are carved high into the cliffs beside impressive ancient rock reliefs.

Arrive in Shiraz in the evening and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Shiraz – Gardens, Poetry, and Farewell
